1st Post

I decided to start this blog to keep our friends and family updated on the impending arrival of little "Neptune." With us spread all across the country, it's hard to keep everyone up to date and I often can't remember to whom I've told what. Hopefully having all of the info in one central location will help eliminate this problem.

So far things have been going very well. I managed to make it through with no morning sickness, for which I am very thankful. We've heard the heartbeat twice so far and it is the coolest experience, definitely something we will never forget! I started to show a few weeks ago and have really started to "pop" lately. Strangers can definitely tell I'm pregnant now.

So far, we haven't reached a consensus on the baby's sex. Nick consulted with a psychic at a local festival who claims Neptune is a boy. A guy that I work with swears it is a girl and that he has never been wrong at guessing an unborn babies sex. Kelsey seems to think that it is twins and possibly one of each. I don't particularly have a feeling either way. I guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to find out!

Anyways, thank you all for your well wishes, prayers and support. We really appreciate it all and can't wait for everyone to meet little Neptune!
