31 Weeks

Today marks 31 weeks in the journey to Neptune's arrival. I can't believe how fast things seem to be going right now. So far, the pregnacy is continuing to go well and I can't really complain. I'm definitely feeling a lot bigger this week and my stomach has gotten a lot harder. I'm starting to outgrow some of my early maternity clothes. Let me just tell you how good it makes your ego feel when you outgrow clothes that are made for pregnant women! I must be huge. Hopefully that just means that little Neptune is getting bigger and stronger every day!

We've had one crazy week here in Ohio. Sunday we experienced a ridiculous wind storm that was a combination of the reminants of Hurricane Ike and another frontal system from the west. We had sustained winds of tropical storm strength with gusts up to a category 1 hurricane...did I mention we're in OHIO???? Nick and I enjoyed trying to walk in the wind while looking like those reporters on the Weather Channel during a hurricane. It really is kind of fun. We eneded up losing power for over 72 hours and sustained some damage to our roof and garage door. We were upset at first but I suppose that's why you have insurance! We were lucky enough to be pampered for a few days at Dick and Linda's house so the lack of power wasn't a huge deal to us. The storm could have been a whole lot worse so we're counting our blessings.

In other news, Neptune's furniture has come in and should be arriving at our house as I type this. I'm so excited! I can't wait to get her room completed so we can add the furniture and eventually add our little girl! I'll definitely post pics when we get it put together.
